Jim Lensing, Agent
Born and raised in Lake Providence, La., Jim graduated from Briarfield Academy in 2004 and from Louisiana State University in 2009. At LSU, he received a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Agribusiness and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
His insurance career started as a life sales representative for New York Life Insurance Company in the summer of 2009. It was here where he learned the importance of building relationships with people and the value of customer service when it comes to his work. During his tenure at NYL, he was awarded the honor of being named to Executive Council in 2012 for his outstanding sales achievements.
But at the age of 13, it was his first job as a Cotton Consultant where he gained a respect for farming and saw firsthand how important agriculture was in his community. So in 2012, he left NYL and decided to join the family business (LLC&H Insurance) back in his hometown of Lake Providence.
After spending nearly a decade working in the insurance field, Jim has learned to listen to the needs of his customers and put them first.
In his time off, Jim enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. He is a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, President of the Rotary Club of Lake Providence, and also serves on several local boards. He and his beautiful wife, Megan, have three boys- Jay, Mack, and Mitchell.
